This sweet lemon fondue recipe is creamy, delicious, and perfect anytime. Try dipping sliced fruit or crisp spicy cookies into this desert fondue.
1 cup apple juice
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, cubed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
Fresh strawberries, for serving
Gingerbread cookies, for serving
1. Combine apple juice and flour together in a small bowl, stirring. Set aside.
2. In a medium saucepan over high heat, combine apple juice mixture with sugar. Bring mixture to a boil over high heat, stirring. Cook until smooth, stirring. Add in powdered sugar, button, lemon juice, lemon zest, whisk mixture until thickened and smooth. Transfer to fondue pot over low heat.
Serve with strawberries and gingerbread cookies.
